My 69 super bee is (partly) f8 green and I am looking for a closer match than what I have found so far, if anyone has a code/manufacturer that they can confirm is close I would appreciate it!
I went to a local auto body supply and they found the code for that year but it is pretty far off...
2 Piece Lakewood bell housing scatter shield, block plate and homemade adapter ring. Not looking to ship, located in San Diego, CA. Will most likely be going to Pomona swap on March 3rd.
$400 OBO
Looking for input from anyone that has ran or is running a big block in a 68-70 b body with a Milodon 31580 road race oil pan and a Lakewood 15335 blowproof bellhousing on a A833.
Were you able to install the motor and transmission as 1 unit from the top? If there were clearance issues what...
Curious if anyone has ordered one of these yet? (released 11/15/23, part number 6523/6533)
Built in MAP sensor and ability to tune from your phone via Bluetooth. Sort of seems like they are getting in line with what progression ignition has been doing.
I am mainly curious if it will allow you...
The trunk is my super bee is shot, I have a new 1 piece pan from AMD and am unsure which route to take to replace it. I am not looking to do a full restoration, the bottom of the rear window and dutchman has some rust and probably should be replaced along with the bottoms of the quarter panels...
Looking for a big block lakewood bellhousing for an a833, preferably with all the extras.
I am located in San Diego, can pick up anywhere in southern california or pay for shipping.
Does anyone make patch panels for 69 coronet quarters? The options I'm seeing are full AMD panels at $699 each, OER quater panel skins from classic industries for $214.99 or sherman quarter panels from summit for $242.99.
Anyone have experience with the OER panels? Pretty sure all I need is...
How much, if any, end play should green bearings have? I noticed with the rear wheels off the ground I can rock the wheels a small bit (up/down and side to side), after pulling the axles out and putting a dial indicator on the side of the outer race I have .010" on both sides. Video below.
Hey guys, so I pulled the cap on my MSD distributor and the tang on the rotor is a little burnt up on one end, as are one side of all the posts in the cap. I am thinking an adjustable rotor/phasing the rotor would fix it but just wondering if it could be something else. Also, the rotor/shaft...
Looking for a used OEM drip rail seal/weatherstrip for my 69 Super Bee. The original is torn from a sagging door hinge (now fixed), bought a replacement but I'm not happy with the fit.
The headliner is pretty decent in my super bee but the sail panels were in bad shape, I bought new ones and they have double sided tape on the front edge and the package tray edge, nothing on the top rear window edge. I know the material gets stretched over the teeth on the top window edge but...
(I want to preface this with I'm new to working on old mopars/cars in general, any knowledge or assumptions are just things I have read online, mainly here)
So I have been noticing some intermittent valve noise that always seems to be coming from the pass side valve cover. Pulled the cover...
Working on tuning the carb on the 440 in my super bee, I have an Innovate LM2 wideband with the sensor on the pass side collector. I had been having a lean condition (15+ afr) when going from cruise to light/medium acceleration, going from a 6.5 to 10.5 power valve cleared that up. I am now...
So I got some wheel vintiques 15x8 OE style wheels from classic industries and when I got tires mounted the guy told me the rims were bent (I believe this was noticed on the wheel balancing machine)
After looking at them closer the center bore looks like it was stamped incorrectly on both...
Does anyone have an agreed value auto policy in California on a vehicle that is not garaged? All the classic car companies I've looked at seem to require the car be stored in a locked garage. I have a daily driver (Tacoma) and I do have a garage but its pretty packed with motorcycles, and shoe...
So I have been searching for a 69 super bee for a while now, ended up finding one in the town over from my parents in South Carolina. I flew out yesterday, saw the car last night and purchased it this morning. Me and a friend are going to drive it back to San Diego, 2300 miles, 50 yr old car...
This is a long shot but has anyone ever heard of Wally World Racing Engines? Looking at a motor that belonged to someone who passed away and the person selling it is saying it was built by Wally World Racing Engines (because that's the sticker on the valve cover) It would be up in Oregon or...
Ideally looking for a 69 Super Bee but let me know what you have. I am located in San Diego but willing to travel. Car needs to be a runner but I expect it to need some work. Not looking for show level cars, it's something I plan to drive often and not always gently.
Thanks!
I know a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay but this is going to be my first classic car so looking for a little advice.
The car is a 1969 Super Bee, numbers matching 383/4 speed, no rust, 1 respray, fender tag says B7 blue but it looks like the respray may have been B5? Owner...
