    Hole in cylinder wall.

I have never seen that before where they remove the inner cylinder walls completely like that. Thats crazy. Thank you guys for putting my mind at ease about this. That article was a great help.

    Hole in cylinder wall.

So the hole is not as big of a deal as I was thinking? Would the hole need to fixed before sleeving?

    Hole in cylinder wall.

It's been awhile since I've been on here but as everyone knows life just gets in the way of things you really want to do sometimes. I've finally started the resto on my 69 charger 500. Got the seized motor pulled out 5 hours ago and spent the rest of the time pounding pistons out with my buddy...

    1969 Charger 500 Rebuild

My buddy brought up an interesting fact that all the extra options added weight. It is possible that it was originally purchased to race. There is a window sticker still on it of either race club or just a run of the day mod shop from back in the day. Haven't researched it yet.

Another quick update. Was able to clean up the fender tag a bit to get some info. My black on red color combo has proven to be NOT original. It in fact originally according to the fender tag was white with red interior.

Pretty sure whomever has the matching 500 for this one has mine lol. Red interior is very rare and our cars are only 4 production numbers off.

    1969 Charger 500 Rebuild

SOOOO.....exciting news. Got the car home and pulled the bottom rear seat. My buddy looks at me and says "that sucks no build sheet". Told him, like I said its normally behind the back rest seat. Get the seat loose, pull it forward and hear him freak out like he saw his first pair of boobs...

Here's Something You Don't See Every Day

And here I thought it was odd that my 500 didn't have a console. It just looks weird to me without it. Lol

    1969 Charger 500 Rebuild

I'm hoping with this one having the red interior the seat avoided the pile as there wouldn't have been much of one lol. I won't know until after I get it home this weekend. Fingers crossed.
