Sorry new here 1st post aside from intro. I have a 72 satellite with 318 column shift. Has anyone modded the horizontal linkage for exhaust clearance? I'm looking extend the drop about 1"to clear the magnaflow head pipes I bought. Just curious if that could cause shifting or popping out of gear...

Hi from Wisconsin, Just picked up a 1972 Plymouth Satellite. It appears to be all original 35k car. Runs good so far. Few leaks that need to he addressed and some typical maintenance issues that I'm doing just cause its 50yrs old. Looking forward to driving it. As far as future plans thinking...
