    Saginaw pump on a 67 440 - Hel

That's good news, mine is too. Guess I'll get the brackets and see if the outlet interferes when it's hanging. Did you buy a reducer for the return line, or does someone make the smaller fitting port you can bolt to the box?

    Saginaw pump on a 67 440 - Hel

Hi. I've got a 67 gtx with a 67 440 (stamped 3-17-67) with power steering. I've got a trw pump on it now. The steering box started leaking so I figured I'd take it out to rebuild it and change to a Saginaw pump while I'm at it. I got one with brackets out of a motor home with a 440 (later...

What did you do to your Mopar today?

Noticed an off-idle hesitation the other day so ordered a Holley rebuild kit. Figured I'd drive it around the block today then pull the intake to repaint and rebuild the carb. Went to start it, crank crank crank no fuel. Looked down the carb, no spray. Guess I got the kit just in time. Just...

Recommended Plug wires for my 440 (70) now HEI?

Thanks for the info. I bypassed my crossover for my tweeters so now it goes head unit to equalizer to amp, and the whine is barely noticeable. So the crossover was just amplifying the issue. Back to the thread though, my whine happens when the car is off as well, so my firecore 50's...

Recommended Plug wires for my 440 (70) now HEI?

Could you give some more detail of your sound system? I have the firecore 50's and am currently chasing a nasty ~10khz whine that i thought was being produced from my active crossover, but not sure what is inducing the noise. Do you have everything grounded to one point, multipoints?

What All Is Involved In Upgrading To A 100amp Alternator In a 1970 RR

I used an alt out of an early 90's ram. I think its 136 amp. Grabbed a pulley off a dakota. Then i got a sunco voltmeter from autozone, disassembled it, drilled two small holes in my ammeter face, popped out the ammeter, screwed the voltmeter in place. You would never notice. Put all the...
