Wondering if there is sopose to be a difference between 66 belvedere lower dash chrome that travels the distance of the dash and wraps up & over the steering column? My 66 chrome was pretty pitted and rusted but had some from my 67 satellite. ....seems as if the lower sections are shorter for...
Here we go again. I'm building a 1966 belvedere. Originally it had power steering and I didn't care for it. I had a 1967 satellite big block manual steering car so I pulled the steering ox and column out of it. I tried installing the set up in my 66 and it didn't seem to go together. Is there a...
So, looking for suggestions on who sells bucket seat buns-foam? I'm needing a pair for my 1966 belvedere. If someone on the forum has a pair they want to sell I would more than entertain that also. I am looking for a good deal on them too because this car is being built as a hot rod, not a show...
Ok, so this might just be a stupid question but I'm installing bucket seats into my 66 Belvedere where there use to be a bench from factory (car was bought with c-body buckets someone else installed). My question is, is there another reason other than strengthening the floor a bit to add the...
Ok guys, I want to throw this out there. My '66 Belvedere has this annoying sound that generates behind the dash. Now this only happens after the key is turned on. I don't even have to start the car or turn the lights on. Shortly after turning the key on a heavy click is heard behind the dash...
Wondering if you guys could post some pics of how you routed your aftermarket auto shifter cables 'through the carpet'. I want to keep it clean looking and thought what better way to look for ideas than to ask you guys. I wasn't happy in the past how I had done it so looking to change it on this...
Im putting together a 1966 belvedere and it had a bench seat originally. So I have a pair of buckets I'm going to install and wonder if anyone has a pic of those bucket seat braces you have to add to the floor boards after they were installed? That would be great, Thanks guys!
Ok I feel pretty stupid here. I have a 1966 belvedere I am building. I removed the original non-poly 318 and 727. I built a 440 for it and bought a '78 Dodge 2wd pick up for cheap and it had many speed parts on it I am using. One of the parts that I am trying to use is the 727 that was in it. It...
Ok, so this is simply a sharing post for me because I'm pretty stoked about the deal I scored on this new top and bottom tool chest. I went into Sears the other day and while walking past the tool chests I saw this one with some sale signs on it. I was perplexed being the prices didn't make much...
Ok guys, we went to the "Rod Run to the end of the world" up in Long beach/Oceanside Washington this past weekend. As usual the 3 day show and events were great. This is a top notch show and is a must go if its on your consider list. The entire community supports this show and contributes. We've...
Ok guys, how many of you have stuffed 3'" exhaust under a '66-67 b-body? I have a '66 Belvedere that I want 3" exhaust down the car & over the axles. Now to throw in another factor I'm going to be moving the springs in 3" with the MP kit down the road. Yes the stock tank is still there too and I...
I'm looking for suggestions for spark plugs for my warmed up 30 over 440. It will be in a '66 belvedere running on the street on pump gas. It does have forged pistons, closed chamber heads with approx 9.7-1 comp. This motor is nothing extravagant and has a bunch of speed parts I had lying around...
Hey guys, I just wanted to give a big shout and let you know I bought a hemi style hood scoop for my 1966 Belvedere from Jeff at "Car Crazy Fiberglass" [email protected]. The product looks great and is sturdy. The other great feature is that he's selling them at an extremely reasonable price...
Ok y'all, looking for some suggestions here. First off, I hope I don't affend anyone here with my gripe and what its about, especially with those of you that have these. I had new neighbors move in recently and with them they brought their 1 pit bull and 4 chiwawas. These damn things won't shut...
Wondering if you guys have found a supplier or who you went through for exhaust studs. I have a set of 915 heads on my 440 and was looking online for some stud kits and I am using headers. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
I may have found my new search engine, its Ron73! I was looking for a certain thread that I knew he posted on, now I know this is hard to imagine because I truly believe he posts on every thread that comes accross the board and ALWAYS in a positive manor, but I first tried the websites search...
Lets see how many shady "redneck" or just shear scary ways we got some of our cars home.
I had a buddy that was ALWAYS picking up cars and for CHEAP!! One time he asked me to bring a car home because he couldn't do it alone.
obviously this was before we were either smart enough or had enough...
Maybe this is already going in another thread but if not here we go!
Let us know what you got for Christmas. Now it doesn't even have to be auto related. Heck, my wife gave me the finger this year! Don't worry, she's still here and got over it,lol.
Ok, so show us what you got!!!
I saw this while driving down the road today so I HAD to take a pic of it and share. This person beat me to the punch for this license plate! Not sure how they got it through DMV but I love it!
Maybe you guys could share some of your favorite plates.
Anyone know where to get this bushing assembly? Appears part of the steel stud has a ball on 1 end to go into 1 of the bushings somehow. Maybe its sold as a complete unit?
This is for a rear side window in a 1966 plymouth belvedere HT.
Any help is appreciated.
