The doubling of a rim joist is the exact same thing as a header just in a different location. You can also keep your insults to yourself.

    Left lane slugs

They did this here quite a few years back, it's called "the no loitering law" and applies to roads with 80km or higher speed limits. Now 90% of drivers think that the left lane ( or proverbial fast lane) is the ******* autobahn no matter what the speed limit is and drive like ********. Dumbest...

Also, you do not want pressure treated lumber for framing. There should be vapor barrier between the concrete and the wood.

If you have two rim joists supporting over the windows then your fine provided that they are well nailed together and this makes a flush header/beam . That is standard framing practice perfectly good to code which allows for more window space. (That is 44yrs of construction talking)

Don't remember his last name but do remember that is on a disability pension and I think his son has a green dart IIRC.

    DOGS

Sad to hear Sky, been there lots of times and will be going through more. The last time the wife and I (mostly me) lasted a month before we got another dog to to fill the void. The house was just too quite so we got another baby soul to love. Get yourself another little soul you can love and you...

    Old school football (real football)

This^^^^^ I was just telling my wife this earlier when we went to the Canucks game. We went to a place called the Pint for dinner and they had an old game on between the 49er's and Dallas and was telling the wife that was when football was really fun to watch. I was a huge 49er's fan.

Well, I can tell you where not to order your dash pad from

I have heard lots of stories where the after market dash pads do not fit. That's too bad.

The Schwartz setup can easily turn into a $20,000-$25,000 affair.

Any pics of b body with 18” or bigger wheels ?

I personally think the 15's are too small for these big cars and the 14's are right out to lunch. I love the resto mods but I'm a true blue prostreeter guy. Stock just doesn't do it for me, yes the cars look great but just so much better when you take them out of the box.
