    1973 Charger won't start

Interesting point....you're the first person I've heard to mention that. My car (1975 fury sport) was originally equipped with that but at some point it was removed. I think maybe even some dealers removed it. There is a reset button on a module near the ECU that has to be pressed to reset...

    78-79 Magnum guages.

BTW, currently my dash only has the "idiot light" for an oil gauge, but with the new tach setup, I'll have to use the REAL gauge, which I purchased....will it hook right up and work properly without anything additional?

    78-79 Magnum guages.

Did it really plug right up to the harness? What about the line for the tach pulse that the previous posters mentioned....did you not have to run a new line thru the bulkhead for that?

    78-79 Magnum guages.

Following this thread with great interest as I'm trying to do the same thing on my 75 fury sport. I would love to hear any updates! for those interested, the circuit board is indeed different on my car between tach and non-tach dashes. I've also purchased the additional gauges needed, the...

Factory Tach conversion on 75 fury sport/roadrunner

I have a 75 Fury Sport and I wanted to add a factory tach to it. Has anyone done this kind of conversion? I have the tach, and also new ammeter/oil/fuel/temp gauges because the tach replaces two of them. I've also got the necessary fascia for the dash, and circuit board. Is there anything...

Front End work: A good price?

Thanks for the input. Yes, the upper ball joints had no rubber left on them I'm told, and the tires had really bad camber wear. I had to replace them too. And yes, they did do an alignment. Drives much better now, and at least I'm not terrified that the front end will go out from under me...

Front End work: A good price?

I haven't had any front end work done in years, so I don't have any good frames of reference. I was recently quoted $850 parts/labor to replace upper ball joints and upper/lower control arm bushings on my 75 plymouth fury sport. The front end has been vibrating badly especially on the driver's...

    Rocker Trim Clips?

Sure....that's how most emblems and trim are installed on today's cars. Especially aftermarket trim pieces like ground effects, spoilers, scoops, etc. are often all use 3M's double sided trim tape...there's usually some "activator" solution that you use along with it...but its very strong once...

    Rocker Trim Clips?

You shouldn't have to drill any holes in your rockers...if your vehicle came from the factory with the trim, the rockers will have small "teets" that the clips latch on to. No holes or drilling. Check out the pics at the start of this thread

    Painting interior metal pieces

I've seen herb's paint and wondered about how good it is....says it will work with metal interior parts with the adhesive promoter...I went ahead and ordered it. Anyone have any experiences with it?

    Rocker Trim Clips?

Sad to hear they didn't work. This thread seems to have established that these clips simply do not exist. The only option I can think of is 3M double sided tape...they use that stuff on modern cars to glue body panels together...I used it to add ground effects to my '13 charger...pretty good...

    removing bucket seats

I'm just keeping you guys on your toes...remember, jacks are not to be trusted and jack stands will fail and crush your brains. I fear them. Looking for creative solutions like large tree stumps or a very strong neighbor.

    Painting interior metal pieces

Yeah I know they can be removed...just wanted to make sure that paint intended for plastic/vinyl interior parts would work equally well on the pot metal parts....no flaking, peeling, etc...and if there is any additional prep recommended.

installing tach - do I have everything I need?

Everything is stock - using OEM parts. yes, I have the wiring diagrams/maintenance manuals but they are pretty useless for this application...they don't have enough detail.

installing tach - do I have everything I need?

I have a 75 Fury Sport....it has the standard gauges, and I wanted to add the factory tach. That also means that I had to replace the other gauges as well. Which I bought. Trouble is, I'm not sure if I have everything, and what else i will need to make the tach work and connect it. here's...
