Unbelievable, yesterday (Sunday Sept. 7/14) it was 28 deg C or about 80 deg F. Now, 24 hours later, it's 3 deg C or about 35 deg F. The next person who complains about my Road Runner contributing to global warming is going to find their tree bark smoothie in a cramped/dark place!
Thats awesome! We're finally getting some relief around here too. First show is coming up at the end of the month and I've got a leaky wheel cylinder to replace, so the sooner things warm up the better.
I may be in Phoenix later this week (Aug.28 - Sept.1 / 2013) and was wondering if there are any good places to go take some weekly cruise events? Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
I used the Shumacher Poly Loks on my 383/438 stroker build and have been happy with them. The Poly Loks are considerably more expensive. But, since all the stock replacements I could find were made in either Mexico or China I figured I'd pay the extra.
take a look at this!
A friend sent me this link and I thought it was worth passing on. I'm not sure that you can click on it, so just cut and paste it into your browser.

As the father of 2 boys (6 & 8 years) I can't even begin to imagine the soul shattering pain those families must be enduring right now. There are going to be a lot of questions, speculation and accusations made over the next while, none of which will be of much comfort to those involved...
Man that really SUCKS! I can't imagine what I would do if my Road Runner went missing. For all FBBO members (and visitors to the forum) in Western Canada, the "Quick Times" swap meet is being held next Saturday Oct. 13th 2012 in Red Deer Alberta. If you're going, that Super Bee has some pretty...
Hey Guys;
I've just got a quick question for any of you that either have a stroker engine in your car or have experience with them. Do you find that they are "noisier" (not exhaust note but mechanical) when they're running than a standard performance rebiuld? I've got almost 2000 miles on...
Thank you for the input gents!
I think I might be asking a little to much of my truck to make these trips. One of them would be more than 2000 miles round trip the other about 800 miles. We are going to test it out but I'm going to have to examine other options. Thanks again.
Hey Guys;
I'm considering taking my '69 Road Runner to a couple of shows that are both several hundred miles from my home. A friend has offered me the use of his 24 ft enclosed trailer. I have a 2006 Silverado 4X4 crew cab (four door) short box with a 5.3L engine. My question is, is this...
A couple of things to keep in mind during your shopping trip.
If I remember correctly, you need to make sure that you buy an Air Grabber assembly with the correct base for the engine platform you are using. The "B" 383 and the "RB" 440 use different bases and you will have clearance issues if...
I don't remember where I found this picture, but all I can say is I would be wild if this was my '69! Almost (but not quite) makes me want to leave mine safe in the garage.
