Had the Hellcat Swapped 64 at Mopars at The Rock this pas weekend and it was super hot, but super rewarding.
Still sorting some small things out on the car, but decided to add a little "Spray".
Results were some solid 8 Sec passes with best being 8.89 @ 150.9 leaving off the footbrake...
Finally starting to get everything sorted out fairly decent on the car. Got to do some suspension tuning yesterday on a not so great track, but heading in the right direction.
5.81 in the 1/8th and 9.19 1/4.
Not a great video but its the only one I got of the 1/4 pass.
I picked up a 64 Dodge drag car last year and ran it with the 572 until I decided to make a change. I run a Modern Street Hemi Shootout series with my Hellcat and wanted to run this car in it so out came the 572 and in went the Hellcat engine.
So far car has been a few 9.20-9.30 passes pretty...
After a number of years playing in the modern Hemi arena, I picked this car up to have something old school to run as well.
I only have three passes on it because the first two resulted in a little more front end lift than I expected and more of a problem was the landing.
in slow motion, the...
Have been a member for quite a bit. A few months ago I decided to part with the 73 Satellite I had built as I didn't drive it much. Decided to get back into a drag car and picked up another B-body.
Thanks and look forward to being more active here again.
Ok folks, I have had the car running for a while but need to get it aligned. I tried a place once but it was a miserable FAIL..The car drives good but the inside edges of tires are wearing.
I have had plenty of Mopars but not one without ecentrics. So how do they adjust this sliding bar? The...
So since I decided to replace the whole power steering system (heck everything else is new) I ordered a new pump, line and gear.. Fought the old gear out tonight and put the new one in and the pitman arm is too big.
My old gear has a thicker sector shaft...go to the parts store and they list...
The factory rubber biscuit is too close to the headers and burnt up in short time. I decided to get this coupler and replace it all...Problem is this coupler is too short.
Now what?

need some exhaust and some other small items and hopefully
I will be cruising the streets.
Hey folks, just about down assembling the power plant and I have no idea how the alt/wp/ps and such go. I have what I think is the right idea, but pics would be appreciated. This car was in pieces and missing most of this stuff when I finally got it away from my dad years ago.
It will just...
Anyone using these headers they have? They will get used on a 73 Satellite with a 493 440 based motor. Car has BB k-member, but still has small block inner fender on pass side.
They tell me they will fit with ease. I know they are expensive and I may leave a little power on the table, but I...
Ok folks, I am getting closer. Picked up all the components for my 493ci stroker this past weekend and I will be assembling the engine over the next couple weeks.
I have read and read and searched and searched dealing with oil pans.
This is a factory 73 Satellite SB car, but it has a BB...
Changed directions and won't be using these. These are in good shape and were checked and rods resized a few years ago. Std bore. 300 or reasonable offer plus shipping. 910-382-8540 Ron
Just wanted to post a couple pics of my project. Have been slowing down on it and losing some motivation for some reason. Might be the task of trying to do this and race the duster and play with and race my 2010 Challenger. Anyway, I just got the front end back under it after, blasting...
hey guys, here is what I have.
One of the last things I need to do with this satellite before motor and trans is brakes.
This car was a power brake car as I remember that clearly back when my dad had it. Well at some point he got rid of the booster. I was looking at some pre-teardown pics...
Is there a complete rebuild kit for the front end worth buying for a 73 satellite? or should I just piece part it?
poly or rubber for the bushings? The car won't see a ton of use, but will be a driver when done.
any advice is appreciate as well as best place to purchase.
Thanks
73 Satellite
Hey guys, while I am waiting for my seats to come back from having the covers put on, I decided to try and make sure the fuel gauge works as this car sat for many years before I got it.
It has a new tank and new sender. I went and pulled the sender out of the tank. I wire the...
Hey folks, I know this is probably not rocket science, but how does the cables run on the car? All the wiring was out of mine. I do have the harnesses that plug into the bulkhead, but nothing from battery.
I am pretty sure the Neg will just be ran to the fron of the motor/head. Is that the...
Has anybody used these? I know the aluminum are the best, but I am doing a driver that needs to get done. these are like 100+ cheaper. they also have the torsion crossmember kit.

Ok guys, I have decided (after I test fitted the headers and block this weekend) that I am going to open the inner fender on the pass side. this is original SB car with BB k-member. The car has already been painted.
So I just bought this original 73 BB car and I took the pad off that covers...
