Someone had used silastic to mount the nuts to the glass and used stainless steel screws to hold the glass in place !!:headbang:
I have cleaned off the silastic & some surface rust & painted the nuts...

For the wipers to park the switch swaps over the polarity to the motor ie swaps the positive wire to the terminal that was negative & the motor reverses direction & then parks. If its not parking it may have the wrong switch fitted & it may be faulty.

Well after filing a complaint to BBB I got nowhere...SW just deny there is a problem & say I am a fool for using Mag Wheel Cleaner on them.... I am looking into getting them re-chromed by a local shop who do it right !!!
Hopefully it will handle & stop much better than the original set up that used Aussie Valiant disc brakes...they slowed it down but didnt stop it..:oops:
