I recently had a spare 727 trans rebuilt to swap into my 67 Belvedere 383. The trans that was in the car is in good working condition, just leaked at the selector seals, planning on using it in another project. The driveshaft has always been a PIA to get in and out because the slip yoke...

Swapping in a fresh 727 tomorrow and went out in search of fluid tonight. None of the chain stores are stocking Dex III anymore, all they have is listed as Dex/Merc. Says it is a replacement for DexIII. Anyone else running this?
