Isnt it the same heater a/c box for 66-70 b-bodies?
if so .....i have what you need or can tell you where to get it.
I`m rebuilding on one right now. i have about 3 or 4 more and one with just heater also ready to go.
..heater core is copper/lead not a problem to rEpair...
scary, i still have nightmares of running straight into the wall. looks like you had a handfull keeping it straight your self.

I know a guy that has a 69rr clone, was a sport satellite with a/c toro red, black top and blacked out fresh air hood. the car is a complete factory resto. has 383 badges but is a 440 hp2 black inside with floor console auto , buckets w/headrest. Car looks brand new,,wish i had room i would buy...
Got it finished today some good old 45% silver brazing rod with flux coating worked like a dream....it was 52 $ for a pack of 9 sticks but well worth it. So that must have been close to what chrysler used originaly... I answer my own questions alot.

69 a/c drain tubes
i`m going thru my 69 gtx a/c unit...i`m having problems replacing the copper drain tubes mine were kind of bent up so i yanked them, didnt want to chance a leak into the car. ANYWAY I thought the tubes were silver soldered into the drain pan. But i was wrong the silver solder...
There are a few ways you can do it. 1- install a site glass in front of the expansion valve and fill the system slowly untill you see clear liquid running thru the glass. Some dryers come with them. 2- slowly add freon, you will see the expansion valve freez up that means your getting close. add...
