Guys, the blower motor on my Runner has a squeak to it.
It might be that it is cold in my garage right now.
When I cleaned it up and painted it in the summer and tried it out it was quiet.
My question is can I pull the inlet hose and spray some lube in there? (area circled in red).
Would that...
Guys - I have a question regarding how the A-pillar trim is installed on a 1971 B-body.
Where the A-pillar trim meets the dash speaker cover piece - does the trim sit on top of it like this?
Or do they get tucked underneath it?
Guys, I'm looking for close up pics of the 1971 B-body fuel vapour return line.
Specifically how it runs on the passenger inner fender to the firewall and down.
I want to mount one on my Runner as the inner fender has the indent and mounting hole for the clip that holds the line in place.
Thanks.
Guys: The underside of my trunk lid is blank & I'm adding a rear spoiler.
Can somebody get me a close up photo of the opening?
I know I'm gonna dread putting new holes in it but I need something to break-up all that white at the rear of the car.
Also, I have a small picture of where the...
Similar to Air Grabbers post about the reverse lamp wiring, but my question is for the wiring that goes from the back of the transmission.
I bought the wiring harness for it. Where does the other end get plugged into?
Is there a spot on the bulkhead for it?
Guys, I can't believe I'm having this much difficulty trying to find a 71 Runner dash pad with a steel core.
I currently have an order for one with a company called Moparts Canada - they are located in Windsor Ontario.
I placed my order last June & here we are 9 months later and I get an email...
Does anybody have pictures of the headlight wiring routing?
Specifically how the side marker wiring runs from the side marker up along the front of the rad support?
Does it run above or below the front valance splash shield?
Also the wiring from the front signal lenses - how is that wiring...
Since Mickey Thompson has discontinued their 90000000595 28X7.50-15LT front runner radial tire.
Are there any other manufacturers making the same type of tire?
I'm putting the 3.5" wide Weld drag light on the front of my Runner and need a 28" tall tire.
I have a 26" tall tire now, but it's...
I have this 4 speed bearing retainer.
Unfortunately, the bell housing I have will not work with said bearing retainer.
Besides getting the proper retainer, is there anything that I can do with this existing one to make it fit?
I posted this in the my project section.
I had my engine broken in and dyno'd earlier this year (May).
I decided to re-gasket my 360 engine.
So I pull off the oil pan and I find this in the sump.....
The stuff didn't feel gritty when I rubbed it between my fingertips.
I figure it's a...
Guys, is there any way to safely test the dash cluster when its still on the bench?
I just installed my wiring harness for my 1971 Runner.
I'd like to test the different circuits before the whole thing goes back into the car?
I switched over to LED's for the dash lights - I'd like to test them...
I plan on using the Mopar Performance chrome box with a by-passed ballast.
No MSD for me.
I do have a new MSD2 blaster coil to use with it.
Is there a better alternative to use?
Regarding the blue tint that is on the wiper and headlight switch knobs, has anyone tried to repaint theirs?
I bought a set at a swap meet and the blue tint needs redoing.
Can anyone tell me that actual blue color used and where some could be bought?
Thanks in advance.
Guys, does anyone know the thread pitch on a manual steering column?
I do know that it's larger than the one on a power steering column or a column that has the shifter on it.
I'm rebuilding my column and the ends of the thread are a little buggered and I'd like to run a die on it to clean them up.
Is there a way to convert 2 speed wiper linkage to fit a 3 speed wiper motor?
I'm converting my 71 Runner wiper motor to 3 speed.
The prices of complete 3 speed linkage is crazy.
I know there is a way of converting the 2 speed linkage but am not sure what has to be done.
Any ideas?
I do know...
