    Low gears vs 496 RB Stroker??

    I'm running a 3600 lb(with driver) Polara street/strip car, 505 stroker , 10.5 to 1, Indy Max Wedge ported heads, solid roller.635 lift, 4500 stall converter, 28"tall M/T drag slicks, and 3.73 gears, The car runs 10.50's at 129 mph...60 foot is 1.53. I would suggest that you try those 3.91 gears...

    I've run Comp Ultra Pro Magnum rockers for 5 years, 3 camshafts, and 200 plus runs with zero issues. Comp recommends .030 min. I would suggest you lean towards the loose side....to loose means a little more noise....too tight has much more serious consequences.... John B.

    Stumble on Launch off the 2-Step

    Lack of pump shot would be my guess as well.... On the foot brake and brought up against the convertor at 3000 rpm, you have lots of pump shot left when you floor it and release the foot brake. On the 2 step, you've already floored it, the pump shot is gone, and all 4 barrels are wide open...

    Max Wedge Fuel Pump

    I AM running a 500+ inch big block stroker in a 10 second car...fuel pump is a Carter M6903 and fuel system is 3/8" steel line... Hope this helps... John B.
