I go every year. The turnout this year was very comparable to the last 2 years. 4-5 years ago the turnout was significantly better. There is a lot of repetition - the same cars are there every year and there are never very many Mopars.
Under 500 miles. Bought new last year from Summit - paid $180. No adjustments made - distributor is as shipped form the manufacturer. New cap. $125 including shipping in the US. For B block.
I have had one installed on my '70RR for the better part of a year now and I would definitely recommend the system. I have a 383/727 combo with the 3.23 gears. I put in the OD unit with the intention of installing some lower gears in the future but after putting on a couple thousand miles I am...
I bought the Right Stuff 4 wheel power brake kit about a year ago, installed it over the Christmas holiday and have been using it ever since. The sort answer is that I would NOT recommend it. I am not sure about the PST kit James suggests above but it appears to be the same kit.
The parts are...
MSD Atomic EFI
I have had the MSD Atomic EFI installed on a 70 RR (Clone) with a mild 400B for around 6 months now. Here are a few comments about the install and performance:
1. The install was as easy as it sounds. The wiring could not be more simple. The most difficult part of the...
Van's Auto
Van's has them for $120. I have not seen one in person, but that is a good price and shipping to NC is under $30.
Has anyone used one of these? Curious about the quality.
Right Stuff Detailing Kit
It appears that several of these kits are basically the same. I suspect there are only a couple of people putting them together and then they are sold thru many distributors. I recently installed the Right Stuff 4 wheel disc kit on my '70 Satellite...
Steve,
Do you have a granted patent for the design? If so you should have very little trouble pursuing them for damages, however the process is slow. If you do not have a granted patent it would be unlikely you would be awarded damages but you should be able to get a "cease and desist" order...
Hot Start
I have had the same problem on my '70 Satellite. I have a 600cfm Edelbrock carb on a Performer RPM intake on a 383. The combination runs beautifully but when it has been shut down for 15-60 minutes it is very difficult to start. If I stop for gas (which i do frequently) it starts...
Agree!
Some interesting design features on the PJD bike but its a trailer queen meant for shows only. Jesse's bike is real. I would ride that thing anywhere.
I don't know what the hell Sr. was thinking. Maybe he is trying to sell more toys in Wal-Mart.
MP Fan Shroud
i just bought one yesterday! I have a 1970 Satellite with a 26in radiator. I have not received it yet but this is the one i bought: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DCC-2998326/
The picture looked correct because I do have 4 screws at the corners of the radiator as shown in...
I posted this in the brakes and suspension section but did not get any response so i thought I would re-post it here.
I have a 1970 Satellite with power drum brakes. I want to remove the power booster. Napa sells an inexpensive master cylinder that is a direct replacement for the manual...
I have a 1970 Satellite with power drum brakes. I want to remove the power booster. Napa sells an inexpensive master cylinder that is a direct replacement for the manual drum brake system. My question is - what else needs to be done to convert the system to manual brakes? Is the rod from...
Found the problem! First I want to say thanks to everyone who made a suggestion. I followed 70Hemi's sequence to troubleshoot the problem and it failed step 2. While looking at the wiring diagram I noticed the alternator listed had 2 field connections and the one I had bought from Autozone...
I have a 1970 Satellite. The previous owner had installed a mid 70's electronic ignition and made some other "modifications" that left the engine wiring harness in a bit of disarray. The amp gauge as well as the volt gauge (also verified with a Fluke) were showing a significant overcharge...
I am looking for a few interior parts for my 1970 Roadrunner clone. I need the trim piece that covers the front of the headliner at the top of the windshield. The color of my interior is black but I would take any color as long as its complete.
I am also looking for non-ralley dash trim parts...
