Any alternative to primer and activator for two-stage paint?

I have paint and a hardener. But this is a rust spot as big as a hand I want to repair. However, the cost of primer and activator I'd rather not spend. I know, I'm working with chemistry here. Thanks

    My 67' Belvedere 2 Rebuild

It's been two years this coming month since I started replacing the torsion bar anchor and redid the brake lines. She had a tired three eighteen, so I replaced it with 440. Dealing with a dishonest machine shop, whose ad claimed they knew MOPARs. I trusted them, big mistake, they carelessly...

    I'm truly perplexed here fellas.

Front fender struts. They attach at the bottom on the front of the front fender wells. I cleaned them up and painted them, but dam, they are about four inches too short trying to reinstall them. They are about eleven inches long, round stock, flattened on both ends, one threaded to the other...

Sucess is not always found with a degree.

On Dan Bonjino's show, he played a clip from a speech to a college graduating class, by a billionaire. In paraphrasing, he said you all have high expectations of when you leave here. But when you fail it will be the worst day of your life. You must experience it to learn from it. He closed by...

    Striping chrome off armrest bases?

I see on YT one used "Easy Off" oven cleaner, the other a heat gun, which concerns me with such a small part. Does anyone have any success removing that chrome?

    Stock Torque Converters

Since I can't go with a high stall one price-wise, I picked up a remanufactured one from a trans shop. In measuring the taped thread centers I found two are a full eight inches, while the opposite ones are seven and five-eighth inches. Did four forties use such a small odd span of tapped holes...

    Auggie needs life sustaining surgery

However, two hospitals have refused to give it to me. I'm down at this point but not out. The explication is political from what I have heard from a couple of these talk broadcasts, I'll see if I can find and post the official story and post it there. · "If I die before my dog, let him see my...

67 Belvedere Parking brake and rear brake line?

Parking brake. Is there a return spring on that cable assembly where the three come together? There was a cobbled-up one when I took it apart. Rear brake line. Where does it route through at the left side of the firewall? Thanks

Blk and Red wires on the AMP gauge?

Removed the cluster sometime ago, just can't recall which wire goes to each terminal. There is an odd cymbal in blue next to one terminal, that looks like a mushroom. My 67' factory manual doesn't show it either, just your typical drawing of a box with the two wires going to it.

I know it's for late models, but it sure would cut the frustration if needed.
