I used 440 source head bolts and the head stripped off one of them, I pulled them all and went with ARP's

I had the same problem with Comp Cams roller lifters, sent them back 3 times.. took my new build apart twice before I just gave up on them, I too bought a set of Howards and they worked right out of the pretty packaging.. lost my *** on the lifters and pushrods..

It's garbage,

I've had them on my car since 2012, never an issue..maybe it's the way they were installed..

I had the same issue, fuel would dry up and flow back to the tank .. I installed a fuel check valve in the line and it solved the problem .. usually fires up after a couple of seconds of cranking now

A member here suggested this stuff concerning fuel problems, [Sorry can't remember who it was] But I tried it and Damned if it didn't make my car run a whole lot better.. I'm in California and we have 10% Ethanol in our gas. I was having issues of the fuel boiling out of the bowls ,

Chevy Motors are cheap $$$$$ Mopars aren't..

Haggerty was so simple for me, they asked for a picture and what I wanted to insure it for.. If it went up in smoke , I would be money ahead.
