    Dash Caps-----Accuform, Coverlay, or Palco?

Rock Auto currently sells Coverlay. I have no idea if that's the only brand they have ever sold. I emailed Dante to see which brand he sells. Update, Dante sells Palco. Thanks for the info, Dallas

    Dash Caps-----Accuform, Coverlay, or Palco?

I've decided to just use a dash cap on the '69 500 I'm trying to get back on the road. Has anyone had any experience with any of these? My main concern is fit and how well it covers the damage in the old pad. Thanks, Dallas

'69 Dash pad & gas tank strap questions

Thanks for the input on the pad. I think I'll just get a cap for now. My pad has the vinyl edges where it's split turned up so that will need to be trimmed down so the cap will fir without lumps and waves in it. Dallas

'69 Dash pad & gas tank strap questions

My straps were in good shape but had surface rust. I decided to paint them so they won't stand out too much. My dash pad is so split up and uneven I'm not sure a cap would fit right and not look lumpy or something. Has anyone used a cap on a rough pad? Thanks, Dallas

'69 Dash pad & gas tank strap questions

Thanks for the reply. Were the straps coated or painted, or just bare steel? Dallas

'69 Dash pad & gas tank strap questions

Has anyone used the new dash pads with the abs core instead of steel? If so are they ok for a driver? I'm just maintaining this car, not restoring it. Did the gas tank straps have anything between them and the tank, or were they metal to metal? TIA, Dallas

FOR SALE 1971 Plymouth Road Runner, loaded project

Unfortunately, all I have is the housing. I'm sure I could sell it for some decent $$$ but it really needs to go with the car I think. It would be a shame to part the car out any more. I just missed getting the hood by about a month, almost didn't get the seats but I was just in time... No idea...

FOR SALE 1971 Plymouth Road Runner, loaded project

This car is a major project but would be a beautiful car when done. It's rough and rusty most everywhere, and is missing the hood, motor, and trans, as well as numerous small parts. The floors on the passenger side have heavy surface rust, the driver's side would have to be replaced for sure...

WTB Wanted 1966 Plymouth Satellite factory 383 4 speed car.

I have a project for $2500. I would call it maroon instead of red though. It originally had buckets and console. I have a clear title and the Certi-Card, but the fender tag is missing. I have lots of pics if interested. Thanks, Dallas

    Decode paint code

IIRC, the 'C' prefix has to do with the first year used. Most paint charts will just show Y8. Dallas
