69 RR have headlights no tail lights. No power going from pigtail on floor by kicker panel. Is there a fuse for tail lights I'm thinking there is but nothing is marked. They all look good so I'm doubting it's that. Any help would be appreciated. I don't have a diagram either.
Well just got it figured out ..the connection at column is where the problem was . It had power going out one side not the other. Had to push wire back in now brake and turn work on back right. Thanks guys. Now onto the horn it wants to stay on..if I connect it the black to prong on wheel or if...
I messed up the green wire does have power but it goes to left tail light..the right has a black and a brown wire..I have painless wiring kit in car. Black has power on back right for tail light but the brown which is for the brake and turn does not..going to check connect by column
Ok the was working fine yesterday and when I went down the road today it just went off and stayed on until I pulled the cover and disconnected it. What do you think it did that for. As far as tail lights maybe just bad turn signal switch
So a hot wire is touching inside column causing this. I had column out if car may have rubbed some wire coating off. Think that is my issue with brake and turn signal is as well
Probably a separate issue but horn wants to stay on I had to disconnect wire...maybe related short in turn signal switch. Plus my fuse blew so maybe that's the issue?
69 gtx..all my headlights work and all my turn signals work except back right ..the brake light and turn signal isn't working. It's not the bulb or ground .The gree wire doesn't have any power which is the turn signal wire what is next step
Was thinking about this one. On the the description it says one wire capability what's that mean. Figured it's one way or the other. Also would I be able to just have my 8 rib serpentine pulley pushed on.
Really don't want a one wire alternator. I was going to run battery in trunk. If so I'd have to run a wire from alternator all the way to trunk plus a wire from trunk to starter. Hmm
Checked timing and its been locked out. It's the same at idle as it is at 3k. 34 degrees at idle and at 3k. Think I may just order Don's kit from FBO it's a good kit with a new Pertonix coil, new box with rev limiter and a curved distributor by Don. Someone asked if mine has has a rev limiter...
