I want to replace my front lap seat belts in my 1969 Coronet. Does the large headed bolt just screw into the floor board without a nut under the car? I looked under the car and there does not seem to a nut fastened to the interior bolt so I am assuming it just screws into the interior floor...

It is too loose and keeps falling out of position. Richard Ehrenberg had an article in Mopar Action about putting super glue in it as the crystals will not adhere, but will add grit for stability. I was thinking about getting the stem repainted and would be easier if it was out of the mirror...
