Started mostly with Dodge trucks. My first "car" was a Dodge D50. Moved up to full size after that. My dad bought a 68 Satellite when I was younger. Always had an affinity for that car even though it was a four-door (wish I had it now for a project). Only cars I have ever owned were...
My local dealer wanted to charge me $190 to diagnose a problem that I had already identified on my 2018 Durango. I told them exactly what was wrong but they wouldn't do the repair without the diagnostic check. The real kicker was when I took to my local auto shop for the repair (family business)...
How about a sneak peak of something coming soon to my GTX. I know the steel wheels are the factory correct look for my GTX, but to me Magnums are the perfect Mopar muscle car wheel.
Recently handed down my Durango GT to my son who will finally be able to take a car to college this spring. As a result, I have been looking for a new daily driver. This weekend, I went ahead and bought a 2023 Charger RT. Maybe not the most practical choice for a daily driver, but I wanted...
Laziness I suspect. But I will make the effort. Seems everyone has offered up the most likely possibilities. My old A-body had the build sheet under the rear seat.
Wondering if there is a place that you can buy reproduction copies of the broadcast sheet, or any other documentation, for a classic car you own just based off of providing the VIN or fender tag? I wasn't able to get the previous owner of my car to find any of that paperwork, and I am not...
My father has been a Mopar man his entire life. When it came time for me to get my first vehicle as a teenager, we went with a Dodge D50 pickup. Since that time, I have only bought Mopar vehicles for myself (admittedly my wife and daughter drive non-Mopar products). Also, my cousin's first car...
I am considering selling my 69 GTX. I didn't list it in the For Sale forum because I have not fully committed to the possibility yet. Unfortunately, home and life circumstances are starting to outweigh the luxury of having the car. I also don't have to let the car go, but it might be in my best...
My wife managed to do this six months after I completed building my garage. Thankfully my classic car was not inside yet. This was my commuter car at the time. This also provided the opportunity to make some great memes. So I feel your pain.
That's kind of what I figured. I wonder if door skins are standard size even on a four door? Admittedly, I haven't gotten a close look at this thing yet, so I could get scared off if it looks too bad up close. But I have been getting an urge for a low key project that would be a fun driver.
I have been checking out a four door Satellite a few minutes from my house that a gentleman has just sitting in his back yard. It appears to be a 68 or 69 (just based on observation of body lines from the road). Anyone have any experience restoring or modding out a four door one of these cars...
Not sure about Bristol, but at all of the other venues they had several different types of food trucks set up. As for drinks, it is best to keep a cooler stocked full of your favorite beverage and fresh ice when on the Tour.
