On one of our cars I clamped a copper wire in place of the old fuel line ground clamp, worked very well.

I would use the original gasket if possible and retainer.

Some have been having problems with the aftermarket o-ring seals starting to leak, or not thick enough.

I had a 4640 on our 1985 360 B class camper van, way superior to the Q jet, which was a poor choice by Mopar. Still have the 4640. Ended up putting a TQ on it. Fantastic. Maybe a little off topic. Hope not.

Why not use an AVS if looking for cosmetics?

Mopar Action had a good article on Carbs. I got rid of the Q jet we had on our 1985 350 Dodge camper van. Put a thermoquad on the 360, and couldn’t be happier. More performance and way better mileage.
