Sometimes you can run a 2x4 across the inner fenders and use a ratchet strap to hold the back of the engine up.

The L code cars had 1:74 valves IIRC. The 350 hp valves could be enlarged to match 375 HP specs.

I read an article that mentioned 3” versus 21/2” and it suggested that you could lose performance due to back pressure I believe. 3” can be a pain on fitment depending upon the car.

I had agreed, but it can be done at least on a 67 Charger. In 1991, made a trip to Aurora Missouri with our 440. Thing had a gas smell and would lose power on hard acceleration. Got home found out we had a crack in the fuel line by the pump. Solved the fuel smell. Still had problems under...

We had the same symptom once, it was the pushrod.

One of the reasons, why I use factory HP manifolds. Don’t have any problems and don’t plan on competitively racing it.

Thank you, I expected something like that. Contemplating putting the original, in and not using the Hurst that was in the car. Now I have 2 A body ones to find a home for. When the car is finished it will make a few street legal runs.

Anybody know what the shifter on the left is from? Before anyone says too much about that brand of shifter. If I remember correctly, a Gentleman by the name of Mr. Sox himself one championships with one.
