Punch those pins out and carefully squeeze the tabs from the bottom and push it up and out. Mind you your temperatures might have made those clips to brittle to reuse.
The rear front fender molding should also use a bolt style. Some Ford products had the same size trim clips.
Just saw this today.
Put the clip body in the hole. Then drive the pin in to spread the tabs. You are ready for the trim.

That is Carl Cameron on the left. I visited with him for well over an hour. He told me if I remember correctly that they took about 5 weeks to figure out how to brace the roof area around the sail panels in case of a rollover. He gave me a lot of information.
