Is there a possibility that your exhaust system is not exactly the same diameter as factory? Just wondering, because I have heard of others having good success.

Any daily drivers with cool temperatures need them. We don’t have one on our 85 Ram B350 360. Even at 70F it needs to warm up after a cold start. If it sticks closed, you can choke the engine.

I have purchased parts from National Moparts, and get good results. They charge in $Can. I haven’t had any issues with vendors in either country, except at home which wasn’t major.

Years ago I sent a complete floor tunnel, console area cut out, shifter and all linkage to Belgium via UPS. Possibly you could check with National Moparts in Beaverton Ontario. They will ship to Europe. I have dealt with Nigel since 1989. You can also pm me If you wish.

I think that I read somewhere that if you have to much exhaust, you can lose performance. This would be in a ordinary street car I believe.

Should have looked in my 67 Parts book. I was thinking big blocks, in General. 383’s had separate pipes.

Did these B bodies or come with h pipes?

I saw you mentioned headers in your post. I have not seen pipes beat up like that on cars with factory manifolds, except for one that was driven over rocks around a culvert. Lots of other damage also. No they didn’t come from the factory that way.

Who knows with headers?

3 inch pipes fit extremely tight on 66-7 b bodies, a pain to install doing it on jack stands.
