I always thought of a sedan having door frames. The ‘68 Belvedere coupe has frameless doors. The ‘70 Duster as well. But that’s just my opinion. :D :thumbsup:
Here’s an interesting car. Built by Blair’s Speed Shop out of Pasadena. The picture is from Spring ‘65, a ‘65 Chevy II, it supposedly had the first Mk. IV Big Block on the West Coast. They clearly borrowed a few ideas from the Chrysler Camp. :D
I have a Hot Rod magazine from around 1979, at some event… and it showed a ‘65 Plymouth B body altered wheelbase, referring to it as an old factory altered. It was being driven on the street in the photo.
Might it have been one of the original two? I thought they made more than that, but not sure.
Wasn’t there also a dual quad version? Golden Commando? I also heard that an electronic Bendix fuel injection was offered but like the ‘81 Imperial was mostly recalled and fitted with a carburetor.
Contact cleaner works great for getting all the dirt and gum out. I use Electro Wash. But Deoxit or similar will work. Use that before you try the other spray lubes.
I have a ‘68 Satellite wagon. I searched for over 10 years and never found a tailgate that wasn’t rusted thru at the bottom. The car got rear ended and it bent the unibody. I gave up on it... and was offered a fairly clean complete car in pieces last year for $1000. I passed. I did the wagon...
