Cordoba sells for almost 40K at Mecum

Not surprising. I remember when you could pick up clean ‘70-‘71 Dusters for about $1200.

    My New 1978 Cordoba 400, T-Tops

That would have been the one of the koolest Mopars you could get that year. The other being the Little Red Truck. I’d rather the B body… with a big block! :D

    Magnum GT on Feebay

We can thank Iacocca for that. He couldn’t get rid of the “Old Chrysler Corporation” inventory quick enough. I heard a story from a guy that worked at the Delaware parts depot. He said they shipped rail cars full of E body quarter panels and fenders off to scrap. By ‘85 there wasn’t much left. I...

    Magnum GT on Feebay

Rare B body! Definitely should be cared for. :) The Jersey tag explains the rust issues. My Charger is from there, and I had the same outer sheet metal rust. However the floor and rails were perfect. That one might be the same.

Here’s a rare one, 77 Midnight Charger with T tops

Here’s the ad. I guess it was just an all black one. :D

Here’s a rare one, 77 Midnight Charger with T tops

I assumed it would be all black. I seem to remember an ad in Hot Rod of an all black “midnight edition” back then.

    38 Yr Awakening, E86 ‘78 Fury 4-Door

    20 years ago… I wouldn’t have cared. Now… I find it very interesting!

    May I see your 77/78 A38 Monacos/Furys? Please?

Is the 2nd digit in the VIN still “K”? I had a ‘69 Fury I that was PK41H I got free back in the 80’s. I still have the 383 out of it.

    Ebay 1977 volare wagon

I was pointing out sealed beam 7” round lights. I was surprised to see the Jeep in the late 90’s still had the same headlights as my 1970 ‘Cuda. :D

    Ebay 1977 volare wagon

I didn’t know they had glass sealed beams that late. I assumed they went to a plastic unit with a replaceable bulb.

    Ebay 1977 volare wagon

Back in 1979 I was in a local garage. They were doing an oil change on an almost new 1979 Dodge St. Regis. The cop was complaining about the demise of the 440 big block that had been in his 1978 Monaco. I noticed up on the lift that the E58 360/727 equipped car had a true dual exhaust… dual...

    Ebay 1977 volare wagon

I think it was more so it didn’t look so dated. The Ford Fairmont and Chevy Nova had similar. The Nova like the Volare was a one year only, 1979. The round sealed beam headlights were used on trucks into the 90’s. And Chrysler put them into Jeeps as late as this 1997 model.

    Ebay 1977 volare wagon

Yeah… I like the 1980. Last year for the 360/727. I saw a road runner for sale once but it was a /6. I can’t imagine too many of the Sport Wagon or road runner with the 360 were made. I read it was quicker than the 1980 Corvette L82 in the 1/4 mile. The Vette obviously would out top speed it...

    Ebay 1977 volare wagon

They had this in 1977. I went to Reedmans with my parents and grabbed a bunch of brochures. This was in one of them. Looks kool! And I always liked the one year only 1980 front end with the rectangular headlights.

    Anyone know this '75?

I’d be surprised if it got $35,000. But who knows? I’ve seen prices triple since January 2021.

    1979 Chrysler 300 Registry

These cars are growing on me! The 360 with true dual exhaust is better than anything the General was offering. And it is the last true B body! :)

Car Craft Magnum Force Centerline Wheels

Here’s an add from the early 80’s. Looks like it says “Champ Style”

Car Craft Magnum Force Centerline Wheels

That front dam looks kool as all hell!

1975 Roadrunner, the last real runners - anymore out there?

I think Iacocca blew that one.

    1977 Dodge Van

Nice! My buddy had one back in the early 80’s. Slant/TF. It must have been a tradesman. No side windows, or back windows. It did have diamond shaped port holes in the very back. They were smoked. It was that dark green like F8 that was on 50 Mopars for every other color. :D
