Oops, I think the P Zero model. Car has the P7 model now. They seem just a bit stiffer. Before those two, had Continental Extreme Contact DWS. Stiffer, more of a performance tire.
72 has a lot of room for tires. Ran 255s on the '71 Charger with 7" wide rims and 3.5" offset. The 68-70 need a smaller tire or more rim offset. I put those rims/tires on the '69 Coronet, and they "fit", but on full turn I have caught / touched the wheel well trim.
On the '71 Charger, the M/T Street Radials I think are about 11" wide on 10" rims with 5" back spacing.
Stock spring location, so there is maybe an inch of clearance between the tire and leaf spring?
Price sounds fair. Those are aftermarket version of the Magnum 500's. Original wheels don't have chrome rim, they use a stainless steel trim ring. Just in case your looking for originality.
The tire thread width (235 or 275) is just width in mm, so 235mm = 9.25", 275mm = 10.82"
Sidewall height (aspect ratio) of 60% is 9.25*.6 = 5.55, 10.82*.6 =6.492
Need to double sidewall height for top and bottom of tire, 11.1 and 12.984
Add rim diameter of 15 = 26.1" tire height (diameter) for...
I think they would be fine on the rear? I have 255 x 60 15s and have plenty of room in the rear on the Coronet Convert, but the front wheel lip molding touches once in awhile on sharp turns. Might clear fine with a bit more rim offset?
It will depend on the offset of the wheel. I originally had 255x60x15's on (I think 7x15" rims with 3.5 back space?) all the way around on my '71 Charger before going to the big/little combination on the car now.
I had no issues on the '71 Charger. I put the 255x60x15's on the '69 coronet...
