    Vin Tag Rivet

I looked at a '70 Challenger for sale locally the other day (Chevy guy) Original a/c car with no a/c vents in the dash. Hmmm..... I look at the VIN tag and sure enough, round pop rivets. I told the guy " Look, I could give a ****, but somebody is gonna light you up about those".

    Bad fuel messed up valves?

Any old gas I have gets mixed with used oil and, ahem, donated to Walmart.

    Window Regulator for Power Windows

Check your voltage at the motor when going up. I had a bad switch that was dropping 3v. Or, inversely, try running a known 12v directly to the motor.

Amazing Chrysler Unibody and Suspension System Torsion Bars and Leaf Spring Configuration

Not an easy dent to fix (correctly anyway). No access to the backside due to the inner headlight bucket. Usually it's a slide hammer and copious amounts of Bondo.

Just received my Repro Harness From Year 1

If you have the old harness, make sure you pin out the new one against it. More than one M & H harness has had a few of the wires crossed right from the git go.

    68 Satellite Value

Funny thing is, years ago a restored RoadRunner would have been far more valuable than a restored Satellite. Now resto-mods have surpassed most restored "anythings" save the rare '71 Hemi Cuda convertibles blah, blah, blah. Buy the car you can * afford * enjoy * and will use Don't get hung up...

Tail of the Dragon trip Tuesday!

I've done the Dragon a few times, worth doing yes, but check out Moonshiners 28 while you're in the area. Much cooler ride IMHO.

    No feedback on Woodruff Carbs

I had Dave do two carbs for me, both came out excellent. I would not use anyone else at this point.

Mopar 440 one header pipe is glowing red at idle.

It's a long shot and not where I'd go first, but don't rule out one wrong length pushrod. A motor bends a pushrod and a frugal *ahem* mechanic grabs one out of the coffee can of spares. Unlikely, yes, but possible.
