When we had 2 fairly big Black Labs, 65 & 100 lbs. We have a fairly large yard, 1 acre in the back. Used a few approaches, 1) use the hose occasionally to "wash it into the grass", 2) hope the rain does that and mow over it, 3) wife used a pooper scooper and tossed in the tree line.
I got hooked on Mopars with a neighbors '65 Satellite 383 4 spd. At 18 in '71 I was desperate for a '70 Cuda to share with my mom. She got some kicks out of it to. Guys would pull alongside her and rev their motor. She laughed. Bought my '65 Coronet drag car in '74 and worked to make it...
My bet is that different girls react to different cars differently. In my youth, my '70 Lime Green black Vinal top Barracuda seemed to attract a fair amount of very attractive girls. Seriously dated a few. One became my wife of 43+ years. The gen 2 corvettes are really cool.
I understand. I didn't comment on the look, just that '69 500 (NASCAR) was a different car. To be honest I don't think I could normally tell the difference between a typical '69 Charger or a '70. I do remember looking at many '70 Charger 500's on the lot in the spring of '71. The only way I...
The point is that the '69 500's were a special design to meet NASCAR rules. They had a different grill and the rear window extended all the way down the body line, not tucked in like a standard Charger. In '70 they changed the 500 to more of a trim package, not the NASCAR style, using the...
'70 Charger 500's were very common, especially around here. The local Dodge dealer was real big into performance cars. Of course a '69 Charger 500 is a whole different animal. I think I only saw one '69 Charger 500 with the flat grill and different rear window line, back in the day.
The cooling is dependent on several factors, radiator size & design, fan blade number & diameter, AND the water pump design & impeller vane number & design.
Glad to hear that their customer service is still as good as I have experienced. Mancini has always been a good outfit with the parts Mopar guys need. I hope the rockers work well.
Interesting. I noticed the comment about a drag race engine being 150* or less. I wonder what an iron block bracket race motor oil temp is after 4,5, 6, 7 rounds? I've never had an engine oil temp gauge so I don't know. I'll stick with my builders rec of 20-50.
The pic on the website is the same for BB & SB. Poor advertising. Those shown as the BB are not. Red anodizing, who cares. Missing lock nut, I care. I like my Hughes rockers.
Truer words never spoken.
You don't need to know all the answers, just where to find them, or who knows them. The trick is knowing/figuring out the truth from the BS.
My story is that I graduated from a nationally regarded engineering college with bachelor's degree. I went to work and fortunately knew that I didn't know ****. I had the luck of working with one guy in Operations that wasn't an engineer, but taught me more about the engineering stuff I needed...
Agree, not sure how they could enforce it. Does NY patrol have specs on noise level of a stock OEM 440 '68 GTX or a '70 Hemi Cuda? Doubt it. But the lawyers get richer defending your contested ticket.
