BTW, the '69 1/2 are very different than the '70 versions. Mechanical linkage on a vacuum end carb means the previous owner had no clue WTF. That's why I was buying them at $75 - 120 in the mid to late '80's.

You may have read about a bored 426 WEDGE. But that would take a really good 426 wedge block to work.
