I wouldn't buy use t bars myself , unless that you know they were put in the proper way / side
I bough mine direct at my local dodge dealer, so cheap . I looked pop number on summit P something and then they sold them to me , same day they stock them at thew depot , even my leaks I got through...
I got my front torsion bars and leaf spring from my local dealer ! cheap in stock ha for a 50 plus year old car. I look up the Mopar performance number on summit and call dealer. great prices
im not a fan of poly bushing there so squeaky , unfortunately super pro don't make bushing for molars just British stuff there above the rest so so good ,
I had them rebuild my power steering box , and got the upper arms. The only thing I would do is if you buy the arms urethane or silicone the boots on the ball joints they where just put on and when I greased them they popped of , otherwise very happy
when did the problem appear. caster makes the steering come back. like on a bicycle
so if the steering is not coming back, then what is holding it back ? if the steering is free then look at blockage in the system. did the alignment shop know of the issue when they did it?
the alignment shop can't figure it out. with the wheels jacked of the ground and you move the steering
how does it feel. check that valve on he steering box , when I had mine redone it wasn't part of the rebuild
make sure you have no blockage in the Line ,
i have never replace only one . Yes both, it always came in a service kit dust seal snap ring and the real seal.
sometimes the shaft gets pitted and they still leak then it probably need a rebuild . I use a piece of scotchbrite the clean the shaft best as possible. and then brake cleaner to get...
I always have done them in place , on most cars . its usually the pitman that's hard to come off.
how old is the arm , when they have been on for years I usually weaken the arm by cutting it with the torch. and replacing it after. removing it with the puller , then when you remove the snap ring...
great article , but would fit the long on both . So i got the radio and and speaker to sort out and the steering to put on and get a higher stall torque converter , for my winter projects .thanks guys
Im looking at installing the quick ratio arms and my Belvedere . i have a rebuilt ps box from Firmfeel. some sites say it fits my car and on others no , the way the pit man is made differs from oe. the parts that attaches to the subframe is different . and if any one has insatlled them is there...
jack car , and put in neutral and check all he wheel how free they spin,
hows the back, i seen a 69 ford the rear wheel cylinder pistons were seized in and draggibg in tha back making the car act weird. start there and let me know
