I was viewing the post as I have an 11" clutch, Lakewood bell housing and currently no inspection cover which is leaking oil back through the undercarriage. Do you have a recommendation on which cover would fit and have clearance for that bell housing? Thanks.
Thanks for the replies. I'm going with the cork and permatex since the stock heads edges are a bit rough. I contacted Tony at Tony's parts also, didn't know he would reply immediately but he did and recommended the same. Huge thanks to all that replied. Appreciate you.
What's the best gasket set to use? the Moroso rubber ones on it were leaking and I am not a fan of leaks. Very irritating. I would like to replace them and not worry about it or have the leaking. Any suggestions as I am sure this has occurred before. The Mopar performance gaskets from Mancini...
In 68 there were 3 options depending on trim package from what I had learned running fender tag decode. The one shown, wood grain wheel, and 3 spoke pad with either a full trim ring or 3/4 trim ring 2 of which had the roadrunner in the center.
I don't think it is that rare. In 69 they were cranking them out at the factory. My 68 has dark green and light green bench seat and back seat. Dash pad, dash, top doors, headliner, a pillar is all dark green. It depends on the options on the fender tag. Have you researched that yet? it will...
Tuff to find. I ended up taking mine to some metal working wizards at a local Mopar Only Race shop. Lucky for me my friend knows the owner and he did it for free. Some of the old school Mopar guys are the best.
There is a nut on the backside of the fenders. Loosen carefully as they strip easy. New ones, quality are available from BEA parts. I got 4 new for my Roadrunner.
