69 Charger Wood Grain Steering Wheel Identification

Hey Guys, both of these wheels are on Ebay. Maybe it's the angle of the picture that makes one look like the spoke placement is a "Y" and the other look like a "T". Just checking to see if they had a different clocking on one year vs the other since both of these are being sold as a 69 Wheel. If...

    69 charger wiper motor

Got it out. Working from the drivers side you can pull the motor up with your left hand (mine took some work) and gently rotate the wiper blades the motor will come out of the hole just enough to get a 1/2 wrench on the nut that holds the wiper motor to the arms.

    69 charger wiper motor

I'm trying to replace the wiper motor in my 69 charger but was wondering how to get the nut off the back of the wiper motor that holds the arms on. I've got the radio out and I can see the nut but my arm is to big to get in there and get my hand on it. The car has AC / Heat so I can't come up...

    Adjust Brake Light Switch

I've been playing some more with the tail lights problem thinking it was a ground issue but now my headlights are messing up too and if I barely move the switch left to right they will intermittently work / not work. Long story short I think it's a bad switch and ordered one from Year One for...

    Adjust Brake Light Switch

5.7 Hemi, got under the dash and felt the slot you were talking about however it appears that the person who had the car before me bolted it to a hole directly under the adjustment. replaced it with the "screw in" type and it works like a charm. Next issue to run down is why the front and rear...

    Adjust Brake Light Switch

69Bee, thanks for the input. I was going to do that today but woke up with a cold that's been going around here in Houston. I'll give it a shot tomorrow and let you know how it goes. I picked up the screw in type this afternoon just in case. If the adjustment works with the plug in type I'm only...

    Adjust Brake Light Switch

5.7 Hemi I'll look for it today and see how far I can move it. I also see there is another switch type that is a screw in vs. the plug in like I've got. It looks like the screw type can be adjusted.

    Adjust Brake Light Switch

Hey Guys, I've got a 69 Charger w/ 440 mag and 727 auto. My problem is that the brake lights stay on and it appears that the brake pedal is to far away from being able to depress the switch. If I pull on it by hand the lights go out. The brakes work fine and I cannot pull the pedal up closer to...

Power Steering Gear Box Change out

    G. Loved that Hi-Tech 2x4 in the shot!!!! I went over and saw the mechanic this morning and told him that I could go 4 hours on the labor but that was it and if he could do it for that then great if not let me know and so I can drive it back home. No phone calls so I'm thinking he bought off...

Power Steering Gear Box Change out

Thanks DMM! I'll hit him up with this info. I don't mind paying for 4 hours but there's no way I'm getting taken for a 9 hour ride. The only other time I messed with the steering gearbox was on another 69 charger but I had engine out of it at the time so space was not a big deal then. - - -...

Hey Guys, Need some help with this one. I have a 69 Charger w/ 440 magnum and headers and need to replace my power steering gearbox and power steering pump.
