Thanks for the scale. At the time I ordered my exhaust I didn’t have a clue that the Dynomax Super Turbos started restricting HP around 380 or so. I’m going to look those Flomasters up to see if they have a restriction on them.
I’m running the exact mufflers you listed but it’s amazing how much different mine sounds with 3” exhaust, 1 7/8 TTi headers, TF heads, complete roller xr286hr cam with 1.6 rockers idling at 900 RPM,s using a sniper X-Flo efi.
That’s what I’ve been debating. I’m wanting to weld them on and have seen it done but on smaller exhaust and I forgot to remind myself that I’m running 3” and yeah it would be tight.
Looks like 3 different options for exhaust tips. Trying to figure out which one I should go with. One looks like a slip on but it looks like it may be a tad too long for the tips. One has the bolt to tighten it on after it slips on which doesn’t look like 3” tips and the other looks like it’s...
Hell no. If you’re hell bent on an original stock survivor put a stock exhaust system back on it, muffler, hangers and all. I know a few tube guys locally that can make it look like stock as long you show them what it’s supposed to look like, maybe you have someone close also.
Same set up as 91 r/t but an X-pipe. Don’t want no stupid cut out either. Raised enough Hell and made too much noice with this car when I was a lot younger. This is a video of a video so the quality isn’t the greatest and it’s older.
Pay close attention to you passenger side idler arm. 70 Charger here with 240 TF heads and a T-56 Magnum. No problems anywhere but had to put a big ding on the passenger side where the idler arm is at. If it’s close but not hitting you might as well get the ball pen out.
