I don't think we need to open up the "door Knob" & start counting the germanium "As" dopant atom ppm or even pull out the o-scope or Impedance analyzer for this one...8--10 ohm speakers safely play & sound fine to my ears ..After all it's just vintage grade car radio & the sound is the thing...

It's just car radio, guys....where any good 8--10 ohm speaker load will work safely & sound loud enough & clear on any solid state car radio ...... New radios that allow 4 ohms will play good on 4 & up ohms ....Just not that critical for most apps.....

With headers & a stall converter,...why not ditch the AC, Power steering & anything else clutterering up the under hood engine bay !! Make see Oem factory style room to fit the best flowing intake & 4 barrel carb..... 440 Cruise = 4 windows down,....40 Mph .....No clunky AC needed !!

Although I haven't tried it yet, somewhere I saw this dude installing the plug backwards while carefully hitting only the outer perimeter to set depth. Then he hit the center domed area to expand/lock set it. Anyone use this install method ?
