It looks like the green wire goes thru the firewall and connects to the starter relay.
Guys, I'm looking for close up pics of the 1971 B-body fuel vapour return line.
Specifically how it runs on the passenger inner fender to the firewall and down.
I want to mount one on my Runner as the inner fender has the indent and mounting hole for the clip that holds the line in place.

I just bought a 1971 dash pad complete with A/C ducting from a member here.
My car is a non A/C car so I will not be needing the ducting.

The bottom of the stripe is to be located in the middle of the wheel opening.
On the OP photo, that stripe is too far to the right & you can see the bottom of the stripe is nowhere near the middle of the wheel opening.
