    WileERobby - no 90* adapter for me, they can be restrictive. I took a couple of close up photos last night. It's pretty close. When it comes time to fire up the engine I'll put a new smaller one on.

    Kma9176 - I used the standard stud setup on the outer holes. On all of the inner holes I used a 5/16-18UNC x 2" long stainless set screw with standard size ny-lok nuts.     Here are Dougs headers on my small block that is in my 71 Runner. You can see in the first photo that the collector is a little lower than the bottom of the engine K-member.

    Tim, These are Doug's headers. They should fit nicely in your body style. My buddy has the same set in a small block powered F-body Aspen.

    Not a big fan of Flowmasters - I do like the sound but they don't flow very well. I don't remember which college in Michigan did this test, but they tested the flow values of the major performance mufflers. They tested the flow of the muffler vs open pipe. Here are the results of that testing.

    Too bad their testing never included any of the higher end muffler like Corsa or Borla. It would be interesting how they would have performed.

    There was a study done by the University in Michigan comparing flow rates in various mufflers. The car used for the testing was a 1970 Road Runner with a 383. I think the an article was written in Mopar Action magazine some time ago. Anyway, here are the results of the testing.
