YY1 - I'll have to get a photo of the oil filter setup.
That filter was on it when it was on the dyno along with dyno headers.
I hope it comes off....:praying:
Kma9176 - I used the standard stud setup on the outer holes.
On all of the inner holes I used a 5/16-18UNC x 2" long stainless set screw with standard size ny-lok nuts.
No need for any special header bolts.
The second nut back on the drivers side along with the second nut from the front can be...
Here are Dougs headers on my small block that is in my 71 Runner.
You can see in the first photo that the collector is a little lower than the bottom of the engine K-member.
Not a big fan of Flowmasters - I do like the sound but they don't flow very well.
I don't remember which college in Michigan did this test, but they tested the flow values of the major performance mufflers.
They tested the flow of the muffler vs open pipe.
Here are the results of that testing.
There was a study done by the University in Michigan comparing flow rates in various mufflers.
The car used for the testing was a 1970 Road Runner with a 383.
I think the an article was written in Mopar Action magazine some time ago.
