Hard to believe the price difference

Really - a whole week gone by and no one has apparently called Mancini to actually check this out. Mancini is one of the few places I actually pick up the phone to call as they always have answered immediately and they have usually got my orders out the same day unless I called late. So far...

Hard to believe the price difference

The answer to this might put a whole new light on this complaint.

Hard to believe the price difference

I’ve been very pleased with service and pricing from Mancini in the last few years. I also like Summit but I find their on- line catalog and search feature marginal, and parts description and fit information very sparse to downright non-existent. They usually do ship fast.

    Engine oil PSI

Rotella T4 CK-4 Zinc and Phosphorous levels. For break in of a new flat tappet cam engine a break in oil with higher levels should be used. But after break in it’s no longer needed and elevated levels can eventually lead to corrosion At high levels. So break in oil might be a poor substitute...

    Engine oil PSI

First admission - I’m also a long time C2 Vette owner and probably hopelessly corrupted by the C2 Corvette Forum and many on it use Rotella. But yes, a lot of old muscle and classic car owners do use and recommend Rotella, especially for flat tappet cam engines. I’ve been running it in my old...

    Engine oil PSI

That should be fine. I try to use an oil weight that will give me at least 20 psi at hot idle. Rotella 15W40 has been doing a pretty good job of that In most cases.

Car moves way better than expected (Good)

My GTX has a stock 68 440 in it with A727/3.55 gears/suregrip. I put a scope down a few of the cylinders last year and it was bad enough I didn’t want to look at any more - ugly cylinder walls with some scores, chipped piston edges, etc. But i keep the thing tuned and it runs real strong...

    Dana 60 Installation

It can but if you have a transmission rear seal with the boot on the end and around a 1/2” of yoke showing past that I would think you should be safe.

    Exhaust heat riser &HP

Tying the heat riser open on a Mopar with wire was one of the first automotive things I learned to do as a 17 year old. Save yourself the $300.

Picture for the heck of it...from 1967

I sure didn't take enough pictures either in my early years, but I have a couple pictures of my 64 Sport Fury from 68 -69 era that I have always valued. https://www.amazon.com/photos/shared/P4dHL5zxQHOZoVqVxYNMUA.GIsmoF2EjCK-eFVAsds8aU...
