If I applied anything it was probably a thin coat of red, hi-temp RTV. Let cure before starting. I use it instead of gaskets on exhaust manifolds to block on some of my engines - applied sparingly.

Ray, is this stuff like Calyk in that it rubs off on your hands when working near it like when changing plugs? I used Calyk 20 years ago on my GTX and the manifolds still look nice but anytime I work around them I still get it all over my hands.

They aren’t a Hemi muffler recreation as they don’t have the crimped corners typical of them. But they sound pretty much like the Accurate Hemi mufflers on my 66.
