seeking information on parts interchange 1967 coronet 4 door

Front door hinges are the same. The 4 door front doors are not as heavy as the longer 2 door doors. So the hinges may not have as much wear.

    426 Wedge in a 66 Coronet?

"Only racing mods done"? What about the radiused out rear wheel opening? Does the original owner know when the rear quarters were cut out for big tires? He the one that did it?

    426 Wedge in a 66 Coronet?

A lot of 66 and 67 B Bodies have the rear fenders cut out to clear big drag tires. But they did NOT come that way from the factory. That was an alteration, no matter how long ago it was done. Look at all the RO and WO drag car pictures. Sox and Martin cars, etc. You don't see the cut out 1/4s on...

4 door parts same a 2 door parts?

We talking 66 Belvedere or Coronet? Because on a Coronet, the 66 front fenders will work. I only had to modify the little headlight mounting bracket when I replaced the front on my 67 R/T with one from a 66 Coronet after I crunched it back in the distant past.

    426 Wedge in a 66 Coronet?

Very interesting, the broadcast sheet with the extra note on it, and the VIN tag that doesn't match the rest of the paperwork. It is possible that this is a very rare machine special ordered OR modified when new. This is probably one of those issues that will never be 100% known for certain...

    426 Wedge in a 66 Coronet?

The difference in position is minimal, and there is enough flexibility in the exhaust system for the dual pipes to work on either B or RB engines. As for there being an H pipe, I don't believe they were used on a big block B Body until 1967.
