I cleaned mine with a stiff bristle brush and purple stuff degreaser then ran it through the dishwasher. (do not attempt this if the wife is home). I did repaint mine though but it came out great

AAR makes an air cleaner base plate for the A12 cars, but of course it's fiberglass. Anyone know what kind of quality these are or better yet, know of a good repop steel one? NOS in good shape are usually priced crazy.

I bought an angled throttle base from them so I can adjust the srews while on the car but I haven't installed it yet. They aren't going to be able to tune them though unless you can take the car to them. There is no way to tune carbs off the car.
