68 - Signs of Trunk Pan Patches?

Agree with the eldubb440 post. Spot welds do look correct. The apparent patch near the plug, looks like it was just laid over a hole and tacked in place, and then some type of sealant swabbed around it.

68 - Signs of Trunk Pan Patches?

Okay, I have only had one cup of coffee this morning so I am a little off, but I don't exactly get the area you are talking about? Maybe a close up pic.

Establishing a VIN number from the order number on radiator core support

If any little bit of info can help you in your quest, here is some from dodgecharger.com back in 2008 May help narrow down the time frame of when your car was built but I don't know if SO's were always in numeric order. Best of luck. Old Timer Posts: 1,916 Location: Harlan, IA Logged...

    Wrecked 68 charger on auction

Here is what I see. First impact was at the back of the door (looks like a large post of some type). This pushed in the sheet metal but not far enough to affect the rocker (look at the 360 view). The crush pattern stops at the thickened rocker assembly. This initial impact started the car to...

1968 Charger, looking for advice from folks

IMHO Search out of our area, way out, and find exactly what you want at the price you are willing to pay (I like search tempest). Then you can work out how you are going to look/get it. I live in MI and have road tripped to Alabama twice (once by myself and once with the wife) to look at...

1968 Charger, looking for advice from folks

The one in Lansing was listed in the under 10K forum but someone chimed in that it was fake as the vehicle was sold for 14K (I think) on another site. Just and FYI as I did not check.

    Wrecked 68 charger on auction

I like the estimated repair cost of $61,982 For that amount I can fix this one and then buy another one just as nice and still have a little $$$$ left over.
