Picture of everything put together

I was thinking the same thing when i started to think about the wiring for a dual purpose unit. I think they must of used led light strip for each light, signal and driving . With my setup I belive you can only have one or the other. But someone may know a work around? .

Here are pictures comparing an LED bulb and incendescent light . The incendescent is definitely my choice for this situation . The led is more white and the light is more central compared to the regular style bulb

Finally got the rpm switch. Here is a video of a quick test run. Wiring is temporary, just making sure everything works. Permanent install will be with a 3d printed bracket to attach to underside of the dash !
