That color probably isn't going to cover well. Even with the proper ground color.
Your best coverage is obviously your blacks , Grey's. Metallic or not doesn't really matter. The hardest coverage will be yellows and oranges or lime green. Silvers, golds , white , blues and reds kind of...
It does matter on the color. But I know what you mean . Some colors are actually designed like that on purpose to help accent body lines and curves. Others have a crazy flop that allow the metallic to really pop from a side angle
Like at the start of thise video !
Not really a straight answer for that , as each color requires different amounts and sometimes multiple types of pearl.
It can be very deciving how much and pearls are in some colors. I would never have thought the color on a 2015 elantra I painted today had 4 different pearls in it !
Unless it's truly a translucent color like yellow, you can and should always achieve black and white coverage. Anything else and you simply don't have full coverage .
Pictures of spray out card with black line threw it. As well as bumper primed in black and side in grey. All same color......
Your correct in that, sikkens and lesonal are more or less identical . I mix the 2 brands ( sikkens autowave and lesonal equivalent) daily.
UTECH is their industrial/ commercial line up mostly consisting of single stage polyurethanes which are incredibly durable and look fantastic. I have...
I have yet to solve the problem . It's a slow leak so doesn't stop me from driving the car. I was thinking of trying an O-ring this year to see if it will solve the problem !
I've heard of this product but never used it. Looks very promising. I do belive one member on here was using it on one of their projects. (Smoothie's charger ? I think ). The idea and claims of the product sound amazing!
Make sure you make a thread if you use it !
I think this is true. Had a fellow her in Ontario cananda trying to source some for his 69 charger. He told me that they were not being reproduced any more by mopar and was having a hard time finding them without paying an crazy amount to have them shipped here.
But I printed off a few for him...
There is white resins available for sure . I just don't usually buy it. I paint everything I print, so it more cost effective for me to just buy a single color. Unless I am trying to make something that is see translucent ( another project I am working on right now ! )
I will probably just...
Everyone knows these clips that hold up the steering column in our b bodies. They are becoming pretty hard to find. Mine were pretty beat up. Had some collapsed corners
Thanks to world of 3d printing. I was able to make my own. Almost identical in every way. !!
I'm getting a leak from my powersteering gearbox. It is coming from the adjusting screw for the sector shaft. I tried adding an aluminum gasket under the lock nut but no success. The oil is actually coming up threw the threads of the adjusting screw and then leaking down onto the box. I...
You want to get an aftermarket gauge but still use the "stock" sensor?
If you get an aftermarket gauge most come with their matched sensor no need to look for one that works.
I'm putting my MP performance covers back on that I just refinished. I had to get some longer bolts to accommodate the thicker felpro gaskets I went with this time. I noticed that lower bolt closest to front on both covers does not seem to be threaded as deep ?
The bolts are bottoming out...
The stock setup should work. Especially if you don't have to worry about the kick down .
I am using the stock one on my 440 , RPM, holley combo . AND that's on a auto 727.
Clean it with alcohol and water... give a light scuff with some 320 sandpaper or steel wool even. choose your favorite spray bomb....
Put some fittings in the thread first though. Could even roll up small ball of tape to put in the thread holes......
Easy ....
Approx what is the weight of the heating system under the dash ?
And does the dash need to come out out to remove it ? I am debating if I want to pull it out since I don't have actually have it hooked up .
It's from a 68 charger if that makes a diff.
