I get the aluminum jacks. They are typically 1/2 ton less in lift capacity. And more expensive. But are half the weight wheeling them things around. As I have aged, any energy saving is a plus!
My recommendations? Get one with a decent winch. And when you find the specs you need? Go one level higher and heavier. A little over kill easily out weighs not enough?
The 2 post lifts are certainly nicer for car work. However? (There is always a "But" LOL.) I've seen a number of mishaps with 2 post lifts posted. You can get 4 post stands for your 2 post lift if and when using for storage? I would go 2 post. Just knowing to double check balances.
I believe radiant heating from floor is best option for a new building. But to an existing structure? It's expensive. (For obvious installation issues.) Also consider your energy source? If you have natural gas. And in existing structure? Gas radiant overhead unit. Most efficient. And I believe...
