Regarding the tail light chrome bezel difference. Altho they are interchangeable the Road Runner- Satellite have a black insert around the back up light. The GTX- Sport Satellite does not have that and I think just a little different shape to match the trunk finish panel . Did anyone...
Thanks Rick, you are spot on with that location . I added a little more metallic and a bit of Mica to the color mix . In bright sun light it looks a little like B5 and in shade a little darker. Under flouresent light it looks darker with a hint of green !
This is what started out as a 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite. I show it in the modified class, because it is. The only thing on it that says Sport Satellite is the emblem on the dash . Modified with other Mopar parts. I have fun with people who figure out what I have done. Based on the 1968...
Second pic is a 56 Chrysler tail light, But none of the 56 Chryslers had a gas cap behind the light. The side trim shown , is not Chrysler, so this must be from a custom car. I really like the 56 Chry. tail lights, just one of the reasons I bought one. .........................MO
Very similar. I don't remember there being a Plymouth on the back, and the patch was some smaller. Cool ...thanks for sharing . .....................MO
When my Dad was dating my Mother, he had a Model A Ford . He put on a rain downspout in place of the muffler and tail pipe. Mom said she could hear him a mile away ! That is old school broke....MO
I used to really like this show, but lately it has become so boring, I go to sleep . I have missed the last three episodes . Not that I intended too, but just nothing to keep me interested. Have they found anything of value ? ..........................MO
Ed, I have found that writing ( even though not professionally) Is good therapy for the mind. Not always do some folks agree with what you say, but that's OK in my book. Sometimes on face book, when they ask "what' s on your mind?".... I tell em !.....................MO
I can relate Ed. I am a pale face and 3-4 times a year I have same kind of spots frozen off with nitrogen. 4 times I have had to get a chunk taken out and the last one, on my cheek, they filled in the hole with donar tissue.. I asked the dermatologist how many years am I going to have to do...
How about unsweetened Ice tea? Bad for you? I cut back on Pepsi, got tired of plain water .....Doc said ice tea did not make all the kidney stones I had. A LOT !!''''''''''''''''''''''MO
Some have mentioned clutches and bad knees. I know exactly the feel of a stiff Borg & Beck. I put a Centerforce dual Friction , not even a 11", in my 64 Dodge B body, 440 engine at about 425 HP. 3:55 rear gears. Soft Nitto street-strip tires. The clutch was so easy , I mean maybe easier...
A nearby Mexican Resturant has the old Coka Cola formula available in glass bottles. I don't know if they import it from Mexico, but it sure tastes like the Coke we had as kids... I think next time we go there, I will bring a little bag of salted peanuts. ................MO
Last few days, repaired the horn ring, replaced the horn switch and the horn relay. repaired the mount studs for the top of fender turn signal indicator, installed both sides new front side marker lights. Today took wifey to the next town over for lunch, and dropped our 68 Satellite off at...
I enjoy the show, but things just don't make sense. They actually do dig up stuff that make s a person wonder, " why did someone do so much work?" Something did happen , but what ? And I cannot believe that the show generates enough advertising income to pay the expenses So many people...
I have had very similar experiences as you, with multiple cornea transplants , and even an artificial cornea which worked out great, until I got a retina infection. Retina problems are bad news. I shut one eye most of the time too. " Blind in one eye, can't see out the other " ...
Best thing you can do for your eyes and the simplist of procedures. It takes a matter of minutes to have done. If you are scared, you will wonder why you didn't get it done sooner. Probably 95% successful. Get a Dr. that keeps up on the latest information , and has done many many of...
