With the green bearings , you don't have to adjust your side clearance. Not all that hard to do that wrong. You can get rid of the right side adjuster, and since they are sealed, they never have to be grease packed. Packing a bearing with grease with the bearing pressed on the axle, is a...
Good to see you, been a long time. I had them on my 64 Dodge, Didn't keep the car long, to fast for a old geezer!. With my low vision, just considering green again easy installation .............MO
I have been out of the loop for a while. Have they been holding up in non competition driving after many miles ? Has the factory improved them any since the past 5-6 years? IIRC the last ones I got , had thicker retainer plates and an improved bearing ? .....................................MO
Looking for a most affective spray on degreaser for caked on grease that doesn't harm wiring or aluminum. Some kinds of oven cleaner is too harsh. Scraping off grease first would be a problem. What have you used that you like? Thanks for a reply. .........................MO
Interested in the most unobtrusive receiver type to fit 1968 Plymouth Satellite. Pulling a small single axle trailer and a 400 lb Cushman scooter. A bolt on to my frame would be good, don't want to drill holes in my rear bumper. Any suggestions?
1968 Satellite. It has new rear leaf springs, but they have settled a bit , and i would like to raise the rear a couple of inches. I do not like longer than stock rear shackles, and would rather not add another leaf. My thought : Drill another front perch leaf spring eye, bolt hole below the...

Front amber ones 1968 Satellite. On new reproduction, there is a foam gasket about 1/4 + " thick. Does it go between the light bezel and the outside of the body, or on the inside of the body under the large stamped metal nut?. Thanks in advance.....................MO
You are still wrong, only more so... I am not " going after you " and you can not embarrass me. I have nothing to be embarrassed about. And I never lie, on purpose.. I expect a moderator will delete this thread, but it won't be my fault..MO
I thought it was settled. I don't know what happened , and I don't think she knows an explanation. Probably will never know. I never accused her of anything, just simply tried to figure out what happened. I never bad mouthed her to ANYONE. I thought in later communication , we were OK with...
So be it, to stand for what is right, IMO. I don't kiss anyone's *** to be popular. It's been settled good enough for me and I think for the other . So what business is it of yours? ..................................MO
WOW! did I ever get off track. LOL. I went from talking about my transmission dipstick to talking about the engine dipstick which I have a similar problem with. but engine oil is darker. No, the trans. dipstick is stock . I'm afraid this is a clue to age related brain fart that may be...
He replaced the tube and the dipstick that is correct length for it. I was so dam glad to get the engine done and was very happy with the work he did. So I didn't mention it to him. The level marks are right...Just thought someone else had experience with the same problem. My luck, if I try...
