    Disaster, almost

Wow! More than luck. Good problem solving and investigative skills. Just the same, I think this would be a good time to buy a lottery ticket, Doug.

The Imperial went out for a test

Just a guess, but I thinking this not original Fuel Injection and 2.26 gear? LOL. I had one the same colour. Worst car I ever owned! I always liked the styling of these, it was just that mine was an electrical and mechanical nightmare.

    oil filter

I usually use the shorter filter on my big blocks because of limited room around lower rad hose. Like someone else said, we change our oil more often than really needed. No more Fram!

    Bittersweet Wally Win

Congratulations on your big win. You have to be proud. A guy I know up here in Ontario won a Wally out in California. The manager at the track in Sparta at the time had connections with Ford Motor Company, because he used to be a dealer for them. He talked them into helping out by supplying a...

    The 62 is alive

Just go back to the post where it happened and hit the REMOVE button, and all fixed. I think we have all accidentally done that while scrolling.

    The 62 is alive

Doug, I try to give you a compliment, and you Red X me. I hope your fingers are fat. LOL

    mp competition rear leaf springs

No, I don't actively race my car, although I have run it down my local track a few times. I mainly just wanted to pick the back end of my R/T a little bit. I think the 0455 spring has more arch to counteract torque squat on that side of the car. However, that higher arch will go away as the rear...

    mp competition rear leaf springs

Mopar Performance sold those springs as 3800 lb. B-body springs. I have them in my cars. The problem that I have had with them is the passenger side spring ( 0455 ) always sags. If you look at the 0454 driver's side spring, you will notice that the second leaf extends almost back to the main...

    mp competition rear leaf springs

They should be stamped with a part number. This will help you figure what weight they were rated for.
