    I don’t know about the other folks on here , but myself, I think the entire production number on RR convertibles in 69 ( not even considering options ) is a pretty rare car.

    I’ve always seen the originals on the flat area and on somewhat of an angle. I can’t imagine the factory putting it on like the OP picture…seems like it would take much longer that way versus slapping it on like you usually see

    Convert the dash ashtray to hold fuse panel?

    I fabricated a metal clip that hooks onto the bottom of the dash where the fuse box normally mounts with a screw. Now I can unhook it and hold it in my hand…..much better access but only what the slack on the wire allows
